God’s Power In Your Weakness

God uses weak people! And I am very glad. Through all my bravado and showmanship[ I am very weak. I may put on a good show but I need Jesus!
I need Him for everything! For the words I speak, the message I write and the next breath I take that fill my lungs! None of this would be possible without jesus.
I know what my flaws are, I have many – but not as many as I used to have. Jesus has helped me unravel quite a few flaws in my life and remove them from the fabric of my existence.
I am very excited and grateful to Him that I do not smoke, dip, chew, drink and mess with drugs anymore!
I praise God that He set me free from a very chaotic and dangerous existence and give me a new life with Him!
I praise God that it was His doing and not mine! There was no way that I could, or really would want to change, without Him.
Now I can use what our enemy and the flesh planned for evil for God’s Glory. I can share my story of deliverance and victory through Jesus with others.
I do have a little problem with the “be content with your weakness” part of this chapter. I know that I will bear some weaknesses until he calls me Home, but I believe that I should continue to struggle against them and persevere in my desire to seek God and ask Him to heal and restore me. He will honor that request in His Will and Time and the testimony of the one healed by the Master has turned many hearts to Him.
