Consider Jesus

Hebrews 12: 1 - 3

 We are to:

1. Lay aside every weight
2. Lay aside every sin…………………..They bind us up
3. Run the race with endurance
4. Look to Jesus - The Author of our faith - ALPHA - and the Finisher of our faith - OMEGA

 Jesus:

1. Endured the cross FOR THE JOY - the joy of saving His sheep
2. Sets at the right hand of God - intercession
3. Endured this hostility BY US and FOR US

 Consider Him

• He empowers
• He is Life
• He is Truth

 The world tries to bring you down
