Why He Came
Isaiah chapter 35
We
must understand that Jesus Christ came for a purpose and a reason. He came because He loves us and wants to
restore our lives.
He came to:
To Restore the Beauty and Splendor
What
the world and the enemy has soiled and broke down Jesus can restore to His
Perfection.
To Restore the People
Those
who are weak and hurting can be restored to strength and vitality. Those who are damaged and broken can be made
whole.
To Restore the Righteousness
Repentance
and forgiveness restores the righteousness of God in your life. Return to Him today.
To Restore our Hope and Future
There
will be no danger or devourer that can harm us. No weapon formed against us will prosper. Our sadness and pain
will be removed and our joy and peace will be restored to us.
Jesus
came so we, His wayward and doomed creation, could find restoration into His
perfection and plan for us.
Jesus
loves you and deeply desires a continuing love relationship with you that
is real and personal.
We
must also understand the prophetic part of this text. Jesus will come again on day.
He will have a purpose and a plan then as well. His restoration in the Christians life will
be completely and totally restored on that day.
Do you KNOW God’s restored beauty, righteousness and hope in your life
today? Do you KNOW that you will be
part of His eternal restoration process that is quickly coming?
You can have both of these today; by grace alone
through
faith alone
in Jesus Christ alone.
